Since 1998, attorney Daniel W. Gehr has been providing legal services in many legal areas, including Criminal, OVI/Traffic, Juvenile, Domestic Relations, Custody, Support, Paternity, Adoption, Estate/Probate and Guardianship, Personal Injury, Workers’ Compensation, Bankruptcy, Landlord/Tenant and General Civil Litigation.  Although he primarily practices in Butler County, Ohio, he has handles cases in other counties, including Hamilton, Warren, Clermont and Preble Counties.

Daniel W. Gehr is licensed to practice in the State of Ohio, and is admitted to the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio as well as United States Supreme Court.  He is a member of the Butler County Bar Association and the Ohio State Bar Association.  Daniel W. Gehr completed undergraduate studies at Vanderbilt University, and earned his law degree from Chase College of Law (Northern Kentucky University), graduating Magna Cum Laude, finishing fourth in his graduating class and earning many excellence awards.  He is listed in the 1995 edition of Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges. 

Since starting his law practice, Daniel W. Gehr has also served as a public defender for the Cities of Hamilton and Fairfield and Butler County, Ohio.  He has additionally worked as an acting Prosecutor for the City of Hamilton.  He currently assists indigent clients in Probate, Guardianship and Adoption matters through the Volunteer Lawyers Project. 

Outside the office, Daniel W. Gehr annually volunteers as a judge for the American Mock Trial Association’s college competition in Hamilton, Ohio.  He serves on the board of the Fairfield Lacrosse Club, serving as Vice-President and previously coaching the boys’ Middle School team.  He also works with Boy Scout Troop 947, having himself attained the rank of Eagle Scout in 1984.
